As a parent of two young kids, I have lived the childcare journey.
The stress of waiting lists. The ever-increasing fees. The inflexible hours that don’t suit many hard-working families, especially shift-workers.
There is a better way.
I believe if you’re already eligible for a childcare subsidy, you should have more choice about how your family uses it.
Family daycare. Sharing a nanny. Being able to give grandparents some money for their time. Parent-friendly co-working spaces. These options should be on the table.
